A Conference, Reimagined: Inside Suntory’s Spirit Unleashed Event

If your next conference, mid-winter dinner, or awards night is starting to take shape, it might be the perfect time to look at it a little differently.

At Ōrākei Bay, we love creating events that feel easy, considered, and genuinely engaging for your guests. Our spaces are designed to adapt, giving you the flexibility to move beyond the expected and create an experience that flows naturally from one moment to the next.

A recent example of this was Suntory’s Spirit Unleashed conference, brought to life by Supreme Group. For the event, our venue was transformed into six unique breakout zones, each inspired by one of Suntory’s individual brands.

It was a simple but impactful shift that turned a traditional conference into something far more immersive, with each space offering guests a different atmosphere and experience throughout the day.

From styling and branding through to the natural flow between sessions, it was a great example of how flexible event spaces can completely change the feel of an event.

Take a look below at how Suntory transformed our spaces for their recent conference.
